Intro to Drawing & Painting is designed for students in 5th to 8th grade who want to build strong fundamentals, whether as a hobby or to prepare for Art High School applications. Students will explore essential sketching techniques using pencils, charcoal, conte, and calligraphy pens. Through structured exercises, they will learn color theory and painting techniques, expanding their creativity into vibrant works. Hands-on sketchbook exercises will help students brainstorm ideas, refine concepts, and experiment with different mediums, giving them the tools to develop their artistic skills with confidence.
Material: Pencil, colorpencil, watercolor, charcoal, eraser, etc.
